I was in the Bronx yesterday (all day). Thank you, whoever thought of 2:00 motions.
As some of you know there is a new Judge handling the trials and motions: Hon. Mitchell Danziger. Yesterday marked the end of his first week handling them (I think). In any event, motions started promptly at 2:00 and the motions were heard at a fast clip.
As usual, the fact that I carry around the CPLR and Richardson provoked a few comments, which made me wonder: Is carrying around those books the equivalent of wearing a pocket protector?
