FLORIDA’S NO-FAULT IS BACK

Yes, it was gone, but only for a few days. Yesterday the Florida legislature passed a bill that once again requires all drivers to carry PIP (no-fault) insurance. Governer Crist is expected to sign off on the bill. However, it won’t be effective until Jan 1, 2008, so there will be a short lapse.

For those who don’t know, Florida’s No-Fault law sunset on October 1 of this year.

For those who want to know more, you can read about it here, here, and here.
