I was clicking my way through some blogs not too long ago and found a post on ALLTOP Law, a blog aggregator. I found it over at the New York Civil Law blog. My initial impression was that the blue stripe across the bottom was annoying as hell and that I will boycott it because of that damn stripe (you’ll know what I’m talking about when you look). Of course that would make sense–Lots of information put together in a convenient, easy to ready format, and I refuse to use it because of an annoying stripe.
During the past few weeks I’ve been checking the site out periodically and I’ve found that the site is incredibly useful. ALLTOP Law lists many many blogs and many many posts (Police Academy anyone?). When you move the cursor over each post, it gives a synopsis of that post. Good Stuff. In fact, good enough for me to tolerate the stripe.
Is there a lesson here? Yes. Blue stripes are annoying as hell (as are red, yellow, green, magenta, etc.).
